Geronimo Springs Museum contains the history of Sierra County, New Mexico. From the mammoth and mastodon skulls and the world-class collection of prehistoric Mimbres pottery to the Apache, Hispanic, military, mining, ranching, and cultural exhibits, the Museum is a fascinating complex of historical artifacts. Each of several rooms represents a specific subject of history, with displays and artifacts interpreted so that the viewer can understand the items exhibited.

El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro -- the Royal Road to the Interior Lands -- was the official "Road from Spain" bringing the first colonists to the region beginning in 1598 -- 22 years before the Mayflower. This emigrant trail brought thousands of Spanish and Mexican colonists to New Mexico until the arrival of the railroad in the late 1800s.

The Municipal Golf Course, located at 685 Marie, is open year-round, 7 days a week, from 7am until dark. No tee times are required! We feature a well-stocked Golf Shop, a new practice range, and new club carts. Other features of the course: 9 holes, par 72, 6250 yards
